Are we right for you?
Whether you are just beginning your education in theatre or if you are looking for the perfect place to continue your education, Theatre at Southeastern is designed for you. Classes are offered from beginning to advanced levels so you grow as you go! We’ll take your special abilities and help you fully develop them with four different theatre degree options.
Major requirements
All theatre majors have to meet certain criteria at Southeastern. First of all, to be classed as a major, you have to follow the audition or interview requirements for the track you are interested in. As a major, you’ll be involved in every production in the regular academic year. In some shows, you may want to be minimally- involved, and that can be arranged. But you’re here to work in the theatre, and that’s what theatre at Southeastern is all about: you’ll help operate your theatre, and get the best training for the tough profession you’ve chosen.
