Steps for Enrolling in Online Classes

Step 1: Admission – Students new to Southeastern must apply for admission to the University. When you receive notification that you have been accepted to the University, go to Step 2. Current Southeastern students should go immediately to Step 2.

Step 2: Advisement – In order to enroll in any classes at Southeastern, you must first contact an Academic Advisor to clear the advising hold on your account. If you have less than 60 earned college hours, you may contact the Academic Advising and Outreach Center. If you have more than 60 earned college hours, you must contact the department in which you plan to major.

Step 3: Attendance – On the first day of class, go to the main Southeastern web site, click on System Login, and choose Blackboard. You may also access the Southeastern Blackboard web site by typing in http://blackboard.se.edu. Instructions for logging into Blackboard are on the Blackboard web site. Additional information about Blackboard is available on the Online Learning web site under Technology. If you are receiving financial aid, you must access your online classes during the first week of class to avoid problems with receipt of your award
