The Peer Advisement Program was instituted by the Choctaw Nation Scholarship Advisement Program to help assist and support Choctaw Students during their college years. The Peer Advisors mentor students, primarily underclassmen, by using personal experiences to help them adjust to college life and answer the student’s questions. They offer information concerning diversified scholarships, internships and fellowships that are available to Native American students. They also provide information, guidance, support and suggestions for time management, financial problems, academic struggles, school regulations, personal issues and coping skills. For more information about the Scholarship Advisement Program, please visit our website www.choctawnation-sap.com or contact Erin McDaniel.
