Miss Indian S.O.S.U
Southeastern’s Native American Student Association will host the 2013-2014 Miss Indian S.O.S.U. Pageant on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Student Union Auditorium. A Native American female student will be selected to represent the organization and the University at tribal, local, educational and University events. Pageant participants are required to submit an application that outlines educational and career goals; an essay, current photograph, and three personal references; and have a GPA of at least 2.5. Applications are due August 26, 2013, and can be downloaded from the link above, or picked up at the Native American Center for Student Success. Participants are required to wear traditional tribal dress and demonstrate a talent during the pageant. A reception to celebrate the 2013-2014 Miss Indian S.O.S.U. will follow in the Student Union Loft. Miss Indian S.O.S.U. is sponsored by the Native American Student Association and the Native American Center for Student Success.
