Natalie Reitz is a second year doctoral student in the choral conducting program at the University of North Texas, where she is the Conducting Associate to the University Singers as well as the Assistant to the Director of Choral Activities. Prior to moving to Texas, Reitz completed her master’s degree in choral conducting at Kent State University where she directed the Ars Nova Singers and was the assistant conductor to the KSU Chorale, Kent Chorus, and Men’s and Women’s Choruses. She holds a bachelor’s degree in music education from Bowling Green State University and previously taught band and choir at both the middle school and high school levels. Natalie is actively involved in the community as a soloist at First United Methodist Church and as director of the Denton Community Chorus. She is an adjunct professor at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Additionally, Natalie has sung with the 24-voice professional San Antonio Chamber Choir and was previously on the choir faculty at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan.
