FACILITIES UPDATE:
By fiscal year 2010, Southeastern will have made major progress in developing a “state of the art” campus to meet the teaching/learning goals of the university.
In fiscal year 2005 the University made a commitment of $68.9 million, to be provided by various public and private sources, for fourty-eight (48) facilities projects. Fourty (40) of the projects have been completed, six (6) will be completed in fiscal year 2010 and two are pending due to funding. These projects, their estimated cost, current status, and funding source(s) include:

- General Classroom, $5,200,000. Completion date December 20, 2009.
- McCurtain County Branch Campus Allied Health Building, $305,000. Completion date January 2, 2010.
- McCurtain County Branch Campus Allied Health Building infrastructure, $40,497. Completion date December 11, 2009. Funding source: University Funds.
- McCurtain County Branch Campus drainage, $40,500. Completion date January 2, 2010. Funding source: University Funds.
- Parking lots – three locations, $800,000. Completion date June 30, 2010. Funding source: Master Lease Program.
- Campus Master Plan Landscaping – Phase One: Pedestrian/Bicycling Corridors, $250,000. Completion date June 30, 2010. Funding source: Master Lease Program and University Funds.
- Student Union-Counseling & Health Center, Racquetball & Aerobic Studios, $529,690. Pending due to funding.
- Baseball Field/Intramural Complex. $5,400,000. Pending due to funding.
