Ask A Librarian
There are several ways to contact a Librarian for help:
You may email us directly at: email@example.com. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Call the Library at 580-745-2932 during the following hours:
• 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday
• 7:30 a.m. to 5:30p.m. Friday
• Reference Librarians are not on duty during weekend hours
Skype (By appointment only):
To use our Skype Reference Interview option:
1. email, firstname.lastname@example.org, the dates and times you are available, along with your Skype contact name. 2. We will select a date from the choices you sent and reply with the Skype Reference Appointment date and time. 3. On that appointment date and time you will contact us via our Skype username: se.reference.librarians.
Note: You will need a microphone and speakers. We only use the audio and screen sharing options, which make multi-stepped explanations very easy. Skype is an excellent way for Distance Education Students, or anyone off campus, to get the same one-on-one reference help we offer our on-campus students.
You are also welcome to visit the SE Library for help during regular weekday Library hours
For weekends or times the SE library is closed, the Internet Public Library’s (ipl2) question service may be able to help. Ipl2 is staffed by trained professional librarian volunteers and graduate students in library science programs. The volunteers and students come from libraries and schools around the United States, Canada, and even other parts of the world. http://www.ipl.org/div/askus/index.html
