CLEP Tests

College Level Examination Program

Southeastern is a  National (open) testing center.  Exams taken through the National or open testing conditions are transferable to any institution accepting CLEP scores (check receiving institution’s criteria for accepting and awarding credit).

Southeastern’s CLEP code is 6657.  Cost is $95.00 per test; however, prices are subject to change.  Advance registration is required. Forms are available in the Learning Center (580-745-3022). E-mail requests may be sent to Betty Castle at bcastle@se.edu, and written requests may be sent to Betty Castle, Learning Center, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Box 4090, Durant, OK 74701-0609.

Students must now present one form of government-issued identification. A secondary form of ID is no longer be required. The primary identification must be valid and current, must bear the test-taker’s full name in English language characters, and must contain a photograph and a signature.

As of January 1st, 2014, all CLEP® exam payments must be made by test-takers online through the My Account registration portal.

There are “Immediate Candidate Score Reports” for all examinations except College Composition.  For College Composition, candidates will receive their scores in the mail (three to five weeks) after the essay portion of the exam has been scored by CLEP.
