Maintenance Fridays
Beginning in January, the regularly scheduled server maintenance period will be moved to the Friday following the second Tuesday of each month. Microsoft issues their critical updates on the second Tuesday of each month known as ‘Patch Tuesday’. Therefore, moving the regularly scheduled maintenance period to the Friday following the second Tuesday of each month will ensure that we are able to quickly apply the ‘Patch Tuesday’ updates. Please make note of this change for all future regularly schedule maintenance periods. For your convenience, a list of dates for the 2012-2013 regularly scheduled maintenance has been included below. In addition to the date change, the time at which the maintenance period begins will be pushed back to 5:00 PM in an effort to minimize impact on campus computer users. Thank you.
