Assistant or Associate Professor of Accounting
The Department of Accounting and Finance in the John Massey School of Business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University invites applications for a full-time tenure track accounting faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank effective fall 2013.
The successful candidate for the position will possess the following qualifications:
- Assistant professors are required to hold or be near completion of an earned doctorate in accounting from an AACSB-accredited business program at the semester start date.
- Associate professors are expected to be academically qualified under AACSB standards. Responsibilities include research and publication required to maintain academic qualifications, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, advising, curriculum development and committee service. Professional certifications and an interest in information systems are preferred. The compensation package is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
School of Business: The School of Business is managed with an open, integrated, and cross discipline approach. The business programs are accredited by the AACSB International. The School Business offers accounting/finance degrees along with other business degrees and has a well-recognized online MBA program. The University is located in southeast Oklahoma approximately one and half hours from the Dallas Metro area. The community is close to Lake Texoma with venues bringing in major recording stars.
