SE operates the Oklahoma Theta chapter of Alpha Chi.
Students from any academic discipline are eligible for membership, provided they meet the criteria for membership.
Southeastern students are invited to membership during the fall semester each year. To be eligible for membership, students must meet the following criteria at the time of elections:
- Minimum of 60 completed semester hours
- Minimum overall GPA of at least 3.65
- Minimum of 24 hours of credit at the electing institution (SOSU)
- Minimum of 3.65 GPA at electing institution
- Must be enrolled as a full time student (12 hours)
Alpha Chi is distinctive in that it involves members in all aspects of its operation: chapter officer leadership, student representation on the National Council, local chapter event planning, and presenting scholarly programs at regional and national conventions.*
