Now is the time!
Hey there! “Now IS the time for you to be in school!” My name is Tish and I am a full-time student studying Sociology. I had simply decided now IS the time because if I don’t do it now, then when? A little about me… I am married to a wonderfully supportive husband, with 5 children and one grandchild living at home! Talk about a full house! I am the administrator of the Families Feeding Families and the Hope Chest (along with my husband), I work with the Durant Schools guiding teenage parents and I am carrying 18 hours here at SOSU and attend Lakepoint Church. I really am busy…
If you have considered going back to school, why not now? You can always come up with excuses to not do things, but my thought is why not stand tall and take the step? Going back to school is not only beneficial to me, it will benefit my family, the importance of an education will be demonstrated to our kids… Not just harping on what they should do, and I plan on using this achievement to better my community.
Now IS the time… To decide your goals and ambitions and make a change. Now is the time to take care of yourself and do something productive for you… Now is the time to quit making excuses and finish what you started… Or to start…
You want to talk “busy” … I can expand that definition in ways you could never imagine… And though there will be stressful times, this is a wonderful opportunity and an awesome time in my life.
