What is the 2+2 Program?
Oklahoma’s higher education system is designed to allow students to successfully pursue a bachelor’s degree by first attending a community college and then transferring to a 4-year institution. This approach to earning a 4-year degree is commonly referred to as the 2+2 system.
Total hours needed for graduation: 124
Hours needed from a 4-year College: 60
Hours which must be taken at Southeastern: 30
Upper-division hours (3000/4000 level) required: 40
Hours than can be transferred from a Community College: 64
